About Me

I am a Ph.D. student of economics (4th. year) in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. My research interest are Public Finance, Applied Econometrics, International Macroeconomics and Time Series Analysis.
At this moment, I am writing my doctorate dissertation on the incidence of the corporate income tax. My work employs a new methodology that allows for increased analysis of how the incidence is distributed over time among workers, consumers, and capital owners. The members of my committee are Dr. Jorge Martinez-Vazquez (chair), Dr. Shiferaw Gurmu, Dr. Rajeev Dhawan, and Dr. Pedro Silos. When I am not working on my dissertation, I work as a Research Specialist at the Economic Forecasting Center at Georgia State University, where my major responsibilities involve the researching, writing, and publishing of quarterly reports on the state of the local economy: Georgia and Atlanta. |
